What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Have they ever added a decent base, like 4- or larger, then put gravel on top?

    MPG With 6.4

Yeah, with you driving. But imagine an elderly New Yorker used to going straight between stoplights trying it.

    MPG With 6.4

This isn't some Godforsaken corner of New York, or somewhere in Kansas or Florida, pal. There are hills here in the Rockies and the roads have to conform to the terrain accordingly by being curvy. Yet many are still quite steep. Sure, you can usually double the speed through the ones with 10...

    MPG With 6.4

Most likely trees, a rockface, or the bottom of a slope. All my vehicles are subject to Newton's Law, so if I enter a curve even at only 100 mph (which comes quickly at nearly full throttle) that the car is capable of doing 60 mph through, something has to give. By now you really should know...

    MPG With 6.4

If I had it a nearly full throttle 75% of the time I probably wouldn't know it had a radio. I'd be too busy trying to keep it between the lines, or at least on the pavement. And realistically, radio or not, after 2-3 miles there'd be a spectacular crash with such throttle usage.

I use the paddle shifters, turn signals, the heater controls (and once or twice I've used the A/C), and the radio is on, with the gauges displayed on the performance pages. Not that I really hear/listen to the music, but it's a habit.

    MPG With 6.4

Not sure I'd survive driving 130 miles slowly enough to get that kind of mileage.

    MPG With 6.4

Isn't that begging for getting tickets? Not saying that me exceeding the speed limit by 100% doesn't qualify, but when there's nobody else around...

    MPG With 6.4

Correct. And even if I did, accelerating full blast from a standstill has never really appealed to me. Guess I got my fill of that at work. Instead I like maintaining speed through curves, always have and probably always will. It's nowhere near as important with the power available now, but was...

    MPG With 6.4

I don't remember how (in)accurate the 1500 is, but the Durango is between 3 and 8% optimistic. It seems to vary quite a bit between different vehicles.

    MPG With 6.4

Yeah, that was one thing I didn't care for in the Trackhawk, and don't in the TRX. Those are geared too low for my liking, probably to ease the stress and the drivetrain while also appealing to the stoplight to stoplight crowd.

    MPG With 6.4

Damn, that's almost up there with a TRX. My Lie-O-Meter showed 15.2 when I got home today.

AFE Intake for the SRT Durango

Always wondered what gives when there's no (at least not obvious to me) give between the engine and a fixed air box. Is the filter box floating to some extent?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

What could possibly go wrong at 200+ mph?

    MPG With 6.4

She never takes hers on trips either. Just uses it for shopping/running errands. In other words, for transportation. Admittedly, just like me she doesn't always have her foot in it. We can't do that around here as the roads are way too curvy to go 200 mph, or even just 100 for the most part...

My girlfriend consistently gets low 24s with hers, and that's not Lie-O-Meter milage but hand calculated over several years.

Is this true? 2026 Durango RT/392 and Hellcat not available in many states?

It's in southern Utah, 450 miles away for me. I'll get you the contact info later today. Keep in mind that I recently registered my Daihatsu HiJet, and after that my "RePete". The Pete is now insured and registered as an RV, no wonder I like it here.

Is this true? 2026 Durango RT/392 and Hellcat not available in many states?

So you had to get used to that snow can fall vertically instead of horizontally when you moved?

Is this true? 2026 Durango RT/392 and Hellcat not available in many states?

Yup, as first shown on 8-13. Still don't think it prohibits someone to buy out of state and register one in a "forbidden" state. Except it'd be much harder to do in California. I always buy out of state anyway and just about anything can be registered here. It's the people that only consider...
