    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

I pulled that chart from a Trackhawk tune. I can look at the Demon and HC tunes to see how consistent the thresholds are from platform to platform. But, yes once over 3744 miles the PCM will reference those values and the VVT control will occur sooner (more torque?!).

    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

Lots of self neutering HC and Demon owners - I like to call them "investment grade" owners. But, yes - it appears that the car will adapt to you and how you use it.

    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

There is also a threshold of 3744 miles before you get full VVT functionality... and it really does treat those first 500 miles as critical and looks like it neuters you.

Possibly uses it for adaptive learning or abuse mode triggers. But, it definitely wants to learn your driving style and pigeon hole you as an asshole on a scale of 0 to 24 - and there is a significant difference between them. Might explain why some Redeye owners feel like they have a dead...

    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

True. But the expected and delivered torque changes with each, which will likely impact things like shift timing and shift pressure in the transmission to compensate.

    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

Interesting intial results, and yes the MVPI will slow right down and your logs will get janky if your config is loaded up with parameters. I'd surmise there is very little preventing you from making the settings all the same, except where there are issues for expected and delivered torque (red...

    MY TRANSMISSION REPAIR 8hp90

Probably just by the part number, I would imagine most of the differences are internal (stator (K ratio)). 151k (1.99:1) torque converter than the standard Hellcat’s 137k (1.70:1) P/N RL378429AB Here's a fun read: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/2d9f/d36c3d39bd413e29ad035694727b1453d610.pdf

Who switched from 305/45r17's to 315/50r17's??

The additional rotational mass is a greater concern than the gearing since first gear is so low already. I'd also look at what engine speed you are trapping at with the current tires - are you going to benefit from the increased diameter of the tires throughout the entire run or will it...

    New Redeye has ticking sound?

It is usually when those types of sounds stop or get really loud that I start to worry. I am so used to creaks and rattles in my other cars (including the wife's Colorado) that this car sounds so tight it is disturbingly quiet to me. Until the blower noise kicks in... then I am grinning like...

HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP YOUR HELLCAT

I am rebuilding it for the second time... and probably not the last time - heh. But, it is still here.

When did we reach the determination that any of this was lost on me? I build and tune all of my own cars - consequently my mechanical sympathy and understanding runs far deeper than most. This appreciation makes me treat my stuff with a high level of respect (and why I cringe at Hellcat pump...

Meh - you guys do you. If you want keep making excuses and continue to bent over by a guy who smells like gravy and wheezes when he walks - well that's your business. Not me. This isn't rocket surgery no matter how hard you convince yourselves that it is, and somehow isn't worth the time to...

Again: Remove the tunas from the equation and empower yourselves, and lift the veil of secrecy - or keep paying neckbeards with fragile egos. This is how I imagine every person offering remote tuning services: Regardless, I don't really have a dog in this fight.

I am not sure what your previous post is suggesting - care to clarify? In the context of this thread: high enough that you consider living with used transmissions stacked up like cord-wood to be acceptable.

I've had my '87 MCSS since 1999... I was 18 at the time. She's staying because there are just certain cars the grow with you.

The problem is the inconsistencies between tunas. The attitude is: Well this works for me so it "works". Yet, there is little reason to believe, at least that I have seen thus far, as to how they came to that conclusion (other than trial and error). Which is why I stated all you high powered...
