There is nothing like a 60's muscle car on a set of Cragars. This Charger is close to my dream car with a 440, maybe retirement gift for myself (although I told my wife the Redeye was an early retirement gift ).

That is my definition of "stanced".

I like my black wheels. So much that I almost instantly took them off and put them in the back of the garage.
They are perfectly protected in there.
As an added bonus, I'm now not subjecting the world to the seeing yet another vehicle with black wheels.

Dare to be different. Even if it means being one in a thousand with non-black wheels.

For me it depends on the vehicle’s color. I wouldn’t want anything other than black on pitch black. All the wheels in this thread look great though!

It's unnatural. There's supppsed to be something in the middle of the black tire.......but from a distance, all you can see is a big black hole filling the entire fender opening. Just unnatural. As soon as I can find an economical replacement for mine, those heifers will be stored in bags for spares. I'll admit that it is hard to pick a modern fully polished aluminum rim that looks good on these body styles, though. Gatzby, what are/were your first set of polished rims? Those don't look like custom triumphs........they look like maybe a Budnick or something. Is that something I can find "ready to order"? I'm in love with those polished triumphs of yours, but I just can't be selling testi's to bankroll rims. 😁

Ok not to beat a dead horse. You can see the slight difference in color from the original color on the srt cap to the FR brass monkeys. As minimal as it is I’ll prob change the front 2 to FR so they’ll all match 100%. I like them because they’re unique. I’ve never seen brass monkeys on anything other than a HC

Thank you sir. I got something to help the chrome crowd. @TRIUMPH made me a set of wheels for the track. I read about Brembo dust, but go out and bust a road course with some of the baddest brakes on the market and I’ll show you some break dust. Biz, had these coated with some sort of magical coating. You can BLOW off the dust with air, or take a rag and just very lightly brush it off! I’ll show before and after pictures from yesterday at Road America below...
