I haven't forgot everyone but it's been sort of a long day and we just finally got home.
At the awards ceremony I was presented with the award for the quickest street machine eliminator. The car went a 10.0xx every single day this week and a bonus 9.979 on Sunday! Freiburger even made sure to mention that prior to calling my name which was pretty cool. Apparently it raised some eyebrows throughout the week. It was the only car to do so.
The SME shootout (winner of this is the actual SME champ) went as predicted. I cannot Pro Tree to save my life and looking at the log it appears to have spun just a smidge out of the hole. Car was up over 1mph but the 60ft was .040 off a normal run (it's been dead nuts 1.50/1.51/1.52 all week) - it can almost all be attributed to me. turned up the LC to 1600 for that pass. Tires baked in the sun for a good 30min. I waited for the right lane to stage first. Asleep at the tree. A comedy of multiple errors basically. Oh well. The ol girl did her job. I just have to do mine next year so I can defend this (and maybe win a round)

The Winner of the SME shootout is actually crowned SME champ. But I still qualified 1 of something like 200+ cars. I think it's a victory...but the real winner is that guy unfortunately.

Ran the slate in that aspect. I honestly didn't expect to start & finish #1 - we were 5th last year and had to claw at it to get there but that was also only on a 2.79 pulley...didn't have anything smaller without going full kill. This time with The 2.65 it looks like it peaked at 18.5psi at the shift. Probably averaged 17 & change.
Speaking of THAT. lesson learned from sick summer this year. If it's ever that hot again that party pulley is back in play because I went 10.009 & 10.008 at Byron in the all-run session on the 2.50 Lol.
