That's interesting...thanks for sharing. I'm happy with my V8 but understand the allure of this offering to some. To be honest, I'm getting tired of Dodge putting the HC motor into everything that has 4 wheels.

Interesting that they are going in-line. I've driven BMW's with that and it is a very smooth configuration (somewhere between a V motor and a Rotary).
Wife's car is an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 with a 3.0L V6 twin turbo cranking out (surprise) 400hp. It is quick and the dual, small turbo's spool up with almost no noticeable lag but like most turbo cars torque seems scant.

An interesting offering to be sure, but I'll stick with my V8's as long as I possibly can !

I remember from my younger days my uncle racing a slant-6 (and loving it), but I still can't imagine it competing with the 6.2?

I'm keeping my Hellcats until the wife fry's me and puts me in a container of her choosing.

I’d rather see this any day over electric. I remember when the ford raptor went eco boost instead of v8 and thinking how stupid it was. But the raptor eco boost makes insane power. I’m excited to see what they come up with.

I don’t know about insane power. My wife girl gapped one in the Hellcat. Lol

I had a 2020 Raptor for a pinch over a year and just under 14,000 miles. The motor wasn’t bad, but turbo lag was noticeable. The worst part of the EcoPoop equipped Raptor is the fake engine noise piped into the cabin. It got to a point where I didn’t even want to accelerate quickly on an on-ramp because of the sound.

I've heard that a twin turbo might become an option on the Tornado (500-600 hp-?) which might be an interesting Raptor fighter. That would be my next truck if so as I've been waiting for the 6.4 in the 1500 and it won't happen.
The Ford Nightmare is starting to look good to me. I have 2 friends with them and they both quit driving their hot rods cause they like them so much.

There already is a Raptor Fighter. Ram calls it the TRX

I want a street truck. I have no use for a TRX.

I’d love a trx but have no use for one as a daily. I’ve been working on eco boost tuning all night. Excited to see what I can make out of it.
a 500 whp suv is going to be fun. All while getting 25mpg highway when on 87 or 93. The 500whp will be e50. TRX is way more cool but I need a daily 😂

Don't go to the track without tires. I don't take an R/T to the track without the right tires

I too hesitated. But after giving them many years to work out the bugs the two EcoBoost expedition ELs I have are proof that w proper prior planning and design the stuff can work really well. I have no qualms at all.
