I had running boards on my Titan and they were quite useful, especially for the wife.

Never felt the Durango needed them, actually seems like they would be in the way more than a help. Even my wife gets in & out OK without steps.

My thoughts exactly, abuot them being in the way. Guess everyone thinks that way because I have never seen them. Ever. And that body has been out what, 8 years now?

The Expeditions I have (and had) all have them standard. I dont need them, but wife does. Ive used them to clean the windshield and like that. I think the ones (they only show you a side view on Dodge.com) on the Durango spoil the look (probably).

Keep in mind the R/T is lower than the other versions and I believe both the SRT & Hellcat versions are even a tad lower than the R/T.
If you/she can navigate the R/T, either of the other 2 will be fine as well.

That’s worth investigating! I don’t know about the Durango but I bought some OE running boards for my new Jeep GC and they were too close to the rocker panel. I installed one and you could not even get your foot on them, just barely a toehold. I took them back and got a full refund from my Dodge parts Dept.

Even lowered though my ass still rubs the edge of seat a little when I get out and I’m 6’1. Interested to see if you can get them on RTs and up.

You might like the Chief Products Rock Rails:

Now that I've installed my GOBI Stealth roof rack, the Chief rails are next.

Nice roof rack and ladder! I am not planning on needing a roof rack for anything and I think I’ll pass on running boards. I did install some Hemi badges on the hood and I’m planning to add a CAI and a performance exhaust just from the axle back. C0FEAEE3-0721-4BC3-B924-9A7628D7D96F.jpeg

Already installed a Legmaker Carbon Fiber intake. Love it!

I have pairs of Charger and Challenger HC mufflers that I am considering throwing at it... but the wife loved the Borla, on her 5.7 Magnum, so that looks like the front runner.

Good to see another GC owner, here :)

I like the badges. Nice touch...
