Very cool car, and one interesting factoid, the research work done on the development of the turbin car led Chrysler to wining the contract to design and build the A 1 Abrams tank, basically one of the most badass nasty tanks built

Always been a fan of these !! When I was in grade school some dude in our neighborhood had one for a while & would drive it to work. I used to wait by a light 3 blocks from school just to see/hear it go by. Best was when he caught the light & I could hear it take off. Got in trouble a lot for being late for school waiting on that car to go by for the few months he had it.

When I was a kid I collected 1/24 promotional models...I still have that one in my collection..the fact that you got to see one as a kid...well makes me feel...deprived..

It's been packed away for years..started collecting them in 1960..must have @ least 200 plus dealer promos in the box...when my grandson gets old enough (maybe 25..lol) he gets em

I have one of the dealer promo scale models new in the box that apparently they would give out back then...they pop up on eBay from time to time, and got mine for a pretty decent price a few years ago. If I ever won a "golden ticket" into Leno's garage and had only one choice for a ride out of all the amazing cars he has, this would be it
