Just some random weirdness I thought I'd share.
1. As I'm leaving one of my locations at 5 (and west texas tarffic at 5 p.m. can be as bad as Houston - not traffic jammed, but dense and driving fast and stupid). As I pull out, cross three lanes and merge heading west, this Challenger (I know, only jerk offs drive Challengers right?) gives a loud rev and a jump as he passes on the right, then nicely crosses in front and into the turn lane. As I come up on him I double hit the SRT and 2-second pull the down paddle and then light them up 50 MPH. Just to say hi back. Now when I'm driving something that does not have the ridiculously un-user friendly Hellcat exhaust, I'll give a mild rev to folks to say "hey" but I don't do a jump unless its an invitation to play. I generally leave other Dodge's alone, too. Not sure what was up with this guy.
2. Down town here, I see this old guy, probably 80s or older, crossing the street. Bent over, looking down the street. I see him about 200 yards or so away and as I come up on him he's crossed my part of the street but I still slow down a little. As I do so he's looking at me sideways and he gives a thumbs up. I'm sure he was saying "thanks for being careful" but it's also cool to think he might have been saying "nice ride too." If I make to that age, I'll do the same.
