When I got the Hellcat in June of '17 I called my insurance company ( State Farm ) been with them almost 40 years. They quoted me 595.00 every 6 months. I said it was not a daley driver and they dropped it to 525.00. No tickets or accidents ever. last year I saw my bill go up to 700.00 evry 6 months on my '16 GMC and 780.00 on the Cat. My wifes Lexus went to 600.00. I didn't say anything thinking it was my age. This years the Cat went up to 790.00 for 6 months as did the other 2 vehichles. I took a close look and they had me driving 9K miles a year on the Cat, 10K miles a year on the GMC and same on the Lexus. My deductable was 500 on the Cat and GMC and 250 on the Lexus.
I ripped them a new one for the BS mileage and raised all the deductables to 1K. All my rates dropped 65%. ( My cars are all paid for )
Just a reminder to look at your bills before you pay them guys.(y)

I have State Farm and my guy is pretty good. I go in there every 6 months and call him with any questions. I also speak to him and not the people working for him

Something isn't right, I'm on SF as well, my rates for all of my vehicles have gone down significantly in the last year or so.

Not only did they go down before, but when each of them renewed last year, SF announced, like a lot of other insurance companies, a rate reduction due to "CV19" reduced mileage (as a whole in the general public)

I had been as high as $110/m, now I'm down to $75

Maybe state/location related?

Yep, zip codes are certainly a factor.

Hell I’d pay 595 for 6 months. Right now the charger and challenger cost me 1200 each for 6 months. Basically 5k for the year for both. Welcome to the home of the NE where peeps are sue crazy and liability is what your paying $$$$ for.. my record is flawless too I might add. No points, no tickets, no accidents. And I’m 31

Your age, 31, is driving that cost far more than where you live.

6 months ago I switched from GEICO to State Farm after my family being with GEICO for about 30 yrs. Rate went from 300 (2020 HC Charger and 2020 Jeep GC, registered in Downtown Manhattan and 3 drivers) per month to 270 with SF. Got the renewal, it went up to 320 per month. SF said oh its due to the NY rates blah blah blah. So for the hell of it, I checked GEICO again. 220 per month for both cars. Now I am back with GEICO.
Always shop around fellas
