Jeep is taking F1 tech from Masarati to create a beast of a 2.0L 4cyl.
Punch it out to ~3L per bank and slap 2 of them together and hello 6.0L Hurricane…
1000hp is not off the table (actually pretty easy to make in that configuration) with at least as much torque and you have a new flagship engine.

If they’re throwing emissions out the door, yup, that’ll work. They have big blowers in the inventory too, could just put the 3.0 on everything.
The new tech opens new doors. Don’t get me wrong, the 6.2 is my favorite engine… but they put it in everything (which I love) and they need something fresh and competitive.

You better not be joining no diaper crew for at least another 15 years, Demonman. I gotta have a kid for you to meet first.:LOL:

will it be boosted within an inch of it's life like the 3.0? If so I see maybe a 12,000 mile warranty :)

They’ll throw a 10/100k at it like they did the trucks… to instill confidence.
The tech in the 2.0 is different than the 3.0.

I'd like to see (2) 6 cylinders joined for an American v12. That would be decent in the new chargers.

Absolutely. Then it would weigh only 5500 pounds. Why not 2 V8"s and go for a V or W 16. I'm sure they could keep it under 3 tons.

Or maybe even repeat what they did for the V10 and just add a couple cylinders in the middle of an existing V8, like they did with the 5.9L Magnum. Or like Ford did with the 5.4 and turned it into the Triton V10. Chevy bailed on the idea in the mid-90s when they made the LS, and said - nah, that’ll be fine with 8 cylinders. They weren’t wrong.

Funny thing rented a 26ft U haul with one...we were moving Halloween decorations back from my sons house in Pittsburg...we stoped in Grove City for fuel..we had 3 vehicles....we fueled and got on our way..5 min later the guy drivin the truck called and said this truck is a Diesel right...I said NO....well his son put 20 gal of diesel in it...(spilled almost as much on the ground tryin to fill it)..now this is a Sunday afternoon @2PM)...truck started to smoke...driver said what do you want me to do..I said keep drivin till it quits it's fuckin Sunday...long story short we got that truck back to Buffalo....but in Fredonia we got off the thruway..the thing put out so much smoke East and Westbound stopped..the smoke was unreal...flames were shootin out the exhaust 8ft.the whole exhaust was cherry red..we topped it off with gas and took rt 20 the rest of the way...got it back to my warehouse..dropped the tank,,filled it with fresh gas...we fried every 02 sensor....cleared the codes...and dropped it off @ U haul on transit near the 400....now all the way home the driver said it was makin more noise than a 3 pc. band..as we pulled in to Uhaul it was purrin like a kitten...there is no way that truck should made it...Triton V10 magic
