Not sure if my 2016 Cat was on the bottom of the transport and got a bunch of salt on it but these are the upper control arms.
Think the warranty would cover these?

Mine has some as well. Not sure if dealer noted in my file but whatever. Bothered me at first but not anymore.

I mean these are cars, they’re gonna rust. I have yet to be able to afford a car made out of space age materials that doesnt rust, so I accepted this will happen. Even the first few pictures shows a dirty wheel well, doesnt look like a garage queen.

Exposed steel will always develop surface rust. No way around it unless you're constantly sanding and painting it. Or never exposing it in the first place. I wouldnt worry.

Pretty common and easy fix with a can of semi gloss or matte black paint and a small brush.

My 15 year old Magnum was the same when new. I touched that up then and it lasted until last year only because i replaced the upper control arms and the new ones rusted just the same until I painted them up again. The new Charger, same and holding up well.

After detailing and touchup:

The Top answer would be No! Not even if it was on a 2019.

These cars use the same basic components as your regular Challenger/Charger/300. The way a corporation looks at it the component is gonna be worn out and thrown out/replaced before it rots threw or gets structurally weak, so why spend the $ on paint (or god forbid cadmium/galvanized plating). The "pedestrian" cars they are put on are just that. None of those people are looking under fender wells at suspension components. Believe me those things can get pretty rusty crusty and still perform adequately. You forgot to check showcar on the option list when you bought it. LOL. It's strictly aesthetic, don't worry about it.

Dude, come and do mine. I'll pay in rib eyes, beer, whiskey, and good conversation.

Just rang the bell on some of my fav's. If I wasn't 3000 mi away I'd do it! Not big on junk food (fast food , cake, chips) but BIG on good food and drink. It'd be cheaper if you paid some one. LOL.
