I was watching this live and bidding was right around 1 million when some guy yells out 1.5 - for some reason going WAY over the top bid at the time, but that shut down all bidding then and he immediately won the car. I think he likely would have got it for 1.2 million - which is still a lot - but he could have had this and 3 redeyes for the 1.5 he actually paid for this one car I bet! I know it's a Hemi car, but it's also a column shift automatic.

yeah it happens and figured as much. I hate when they add the fees in though. The actual bidding was 1.5 million

They were obtaniun in the '70s. There are cases of Superbirds being sold still new in '72.

Believe it or not, most of the SB's were column shifted.
