Talked to a GM buddy of mine for a dealership on Friday. I asked him how things were going and he said "as good as can be expected in this economy". I asked if interest rates were slowing sales and he said "for sure". He didn't elaborate more but his tone wasn't positive.

Interest rates are a huge factor...a mild winter in the North East..will generate renewed interest..so will larger rebates and incentives...

They still think the public will transition to the EV market and that is where those pesky Yourapeeins want to take their market to......12/31/2023 is when I heard they plan to roll off the last

Their plan has been to raise prices, build less vehicles, have less overhead and make more money with a significantly smaller workforce.
