I'm actually surprised that Stellantis hasn't created their own secret AI influencer on youtube who is doing exactly that: modding a hornet to try to create some market for the car.

It would have to be better than this reality. If you had any doubt that foreign ownership has no clue what Americans want just watch this commercial. Can you imagine being Tim and having to go along with something like this. OMG!

Well, I looked it up and 383 ft/lbs isn't too shabby for a car in this segment. I'd have to go check competitors to see how they looked. Curb weight is pretty hefty at about 4200lbs though.

The problem is they're targeting the wrong demographic. We take this performance adverts as an insult to our intelligence. They should instead target the Honda Pilot, Toyota Rav 4, etc shoppers.

I think the biggest problem will be the price. The RT appears to be about $50K. The Rav4 is $10-15K less.

I think they stopped putting VINs on engine blocks for a while, and started doing it again, at least for Hellcat etc.

We put the vin number on the 6.4 in the Wrangler 392s

The problem is they're targeting the wrong demographic. We take this performance adverts as an insult to our intelligence. They should instead target the Honda Pilot, Toyota Rav 4, etc shoppers.

I think the biggest problem will be the price. The RT appears to be about $50K. The Rav4 is $10-15K less.

That will be a huge hurdle that they won’t overcome. People in this segment aren’t looking for performance they are looking for reliable A-B vehicles that are budget friendly which the Hornet is none of.

The Toyota Rav4 and the Honda CRV are superior vehicles over the Hornet in every way, especially price. The Hornet will never sell like those two do. EVER.
