Ocala 1/2 Mile at Jumbolair is no more

Hi Folks! For those of us who enjoyed racing here (and Immokalee) we now have to travel to South Georgia. This will be the permanent location for the Wannagofast 1/2 mile events from now on. Jumbolair airport has been sold.

Headed to the 29 Feb event. Is it hard to get a spot? Never been to a Wannagofast event but the prepped 1/2 mile seems worth it and I'm 4.5 hours away. I know tickets go on sale 31 Jan, not sure how quickly they go....already reserved an AirBNB.

They sell out quickly years ago one event sold out in fifteen minutes so get on your computer and sign up immediately when it opens usually 8 am on the date

I always enjoyed jumbolair it took skill to get down that slippery track and that was the fun of it i feel a dragstrip might take some fun out of it.

Damn it,, we gots a few races in Bradenton. Lost another on at Sun Shine Speed Way in St Pete. Smart ass idiots decided to build a free way over it. Nice,, no moe drag strip. Deer heard the dirt track racers the otter nite. Some times fun, especially the school bus races and figure 8 's. PBR, red necks, Pine Nellas Park, Fl, hot dogs, puke, and bleach blonds. Gone. Another dirtear track in Tampa. Also Sun Shine Speed Way, but if you sit in the 1st 10 rows, you will get mud e erer. I mean muddy. Bunch of biker's get in a fight makes for great entertainment. Leather jackets to em all.

I agree with Marc. Also, there was always a discount if you signed up on the first day of ticket sales. You will find that Blake does a great job with the event!
