I think they are the same plug. One comes gapped at .031 and the other one is gapped at .045 or so.
How are you gapping iridium plugs?
I know to stay away from the center electrode.

Did you gap them smaller or kept them at .031? Brisks keep fouling out.

Use a ground strap bending tool to close and square the gap to .028”. Don’t use the electrode as a pry point ever, the iridium tip Tiny and very fragile

They run nice at 16 psi boost on pump 93 These were run with Torco, Boostane doesn’t make them as orange but burn as clean. ECA44438-C206-4C60-BCF4-FCC8A3116663.jpeg

Can you recommend a good ground strap bending tool? Yes fragile and brittle. My setup is stated above. 955 hp, 1010 torque. About to add emp tank in trunk as that will add further cooling.

Should then run good on e85 with 17 pounds of boost.

More then 18 psi of boost I was told by Tuners to go down to .025”, above 22 .023”. Don’t know about E85 though

I do not know. After 7k miles or so there is always a ton of black carbon on them.

I bought a adjuster. Pretty cool. 14 mm. You screw in the plug. Then on the other end you slowly tighten a smidge at a time until the ground strap touches the feeler gauge. With me I am going to take the extra step by not compressing it with the feeler gauge in it.

Was the car breaking up under WOT? Or are you just assuming they are fouled from color

Not 100 percent sure. But on the dyno it was breaking up at high rpms and also the idle is a bit rougher now. So it will not hurt. Once I get them replaced I will see if the idle is better and if the dyno is a little less with the rocky mountains and a bit higher on the horsepower scale. I am going to gap them a bit smaller at .026 with my new favorite tool that I ordered. Then when they wear out a bit they will probably be at about .028. I pulled out two with the help of a friend, one on each cylinder bank. I then put them back as I do not have the new plugs yet nor the tool. I should of taken a picture before putting them back. But I did not.
