Wanted to post this here at our humble home. I’ll admit, saw the link elsewhere, but for me the bike looks like it may rock! I would opt for the kit to sit correctly like a chopper and not a rice burner, but others may like it just the way it comes.

What do you say, my biker friends?

Definitely looks bad ass and good to see Harley bringing new products to the market. They are under new powers to be and seem to be resurrecting the Harley Brand.

I'm a Sportster guy... I know, either you love them or hate them. I like a small, nimble, no frills bike and the Sportster works well for me. I like the new one and will track one down once they hit the states. Bike 1.JPG

I think it looks bad ass. Wouldn’t mind having one but I like my Road Glide and I’m sure the wifey wouldn’t be too keen on buying another bike🙄

Overall it looks pretty cool. I like the big tires and they seem to fit well with the design.

However.......and there's always a "however".....

Not sure about the mufflers.......and that taillight/plate bracket would have to go. It looks like they copied that off of some of the new crotch rockets and I don't like it on those either. I'd have to come up with some other design for that. I'm sure some type of small LED's could be used to relocate the turn signals. Mounting the taillight and plate bracket down low on the left side shouldn't be a problem.

I'll be interested to see what they come up with in the way of accessories.

The power improvement is great and I'm happy to see HD innovating. I dig the general look and love that round gauge.
The Austin Powers HD decal on the tank is cool but I'd end up changing it to a more traditional HD logo.
The giant pipes are an eyesore for me. The high positioning is fine but an aftermarket with a different look would be required...Vance & Hines...time to get busy!.

Owned 1 HD and it was the scorn of the traditionalists, a CVO V-Rod. I really enjoyed it but the Porsche designed, water cooled engine elicited raised eyebrows at the dealerships from many HD owners.

Mods! I would do the same with most of it myself. It needs some chrome :D

We had one also. The wifey drove it. She really had no idea of what we put under her. But a couple of us had fun with it when she was not looking. We had it tuned and had the final gear changed because it was geared way too numerically low. The old custom chopper would wipe it out in any acceleration contest. Even at the top because the guy driving the chopper was crazy enough to pull overdrive out at 130! Game was over. Same dude who was able to destroy his HO Hellcat engine on a closed course:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Kinda reminds me of a Vrod, just cosmetically different upswept pipes and such. But, it does look Badass!

I thought the Vrod was neat. I know that plenty of the HD purists didn't care for it, but I still thought it was neat. Not even sure if they still make them or not.

Bout time HD built something that looks good. SO sick of the SOS from them. All clones of each other. I like this, theyre finally thinking outside of the same boring box. Methinks the new Indians and their sweet designs are cutting into their pie and their hand is being forced.

I 100% agree with this, plus like many companies that dont change, their customer base is aging-ancient and dying. Evolve or go out of business. MC market is tough as hell to begin with and this is a step in the right direction for them. FINALLY a more modern engine with some decent power. Indian is pushing them and they need to step up and seems they are doing it. Not a fan of the big tires at all. I like a bike to handle, Im not just driving it bar to bar. Good start

Things are changing...the iconic air cooled spotster obsolete???...who would have thought it...I think it has potential...but that exhaust..has to go...

The Vrod is out of production...but an awesome bike...I have one...tons of fun...not the low end grunt of a big V twin..but plenty of mid range and top end..and the motor..(German colaboration)...smooth and bullet proof...

Yep, had the aftermarket pipes, a tune and different gears in it, and it sounded almost good. A pic after we got some wheels put on it. Had to search for a pic!

About 100lbs ago I rode a Sportster…
When they stick the HO version in a muscle cruiser, they may earn my money. The Pan American isn’t my style either.

Me too. We could get one, but after I would be done modifying, it would look nothing like that bike:p But, I have been down the custom bike road once and it was a money pit. I am with ya, get about 200 hp on a Dyna style type bike with a skinny front tire instead of a dirt bike looking thing and I will at least return to a HD dealer for more than oil and filters.

Looks sort of like Harley-steam punk to me. Not bad. I'd pedal about on it. But would still like the V-rod better I think. But that's just me.
