I remember reading about a new blower shaft coming out that would allow easy swap of litens hell raiser pullies. I thought it was to be released in January. Anybody got any info? This is something I was ready to do asap!

How does this make it quicker or easier ?.... don't you still have to remove the snout ?

maybe a hole in the end of the shaft that you insert a allen head tool to hold shaft.

Looks like you need to remove the snout to install the shaft... after that, I have no idea how this works

No snout removal.
Please explain how this works ?.....bc I know there's the pulley on 1 end of the shaft & a nut on the other end that holds it all together , so how do you take shaft out without removing snout to get to the nut on back side ?

You yank the snout one time to install this shaft...typically as part of a rebuild.

From there onward it appears IF YOUR PULLEY HUB SUPPORTS SUCH it allows you to hold the shaft from the front to remove your pulley/hub via a hex cutout in the front of the shaft.

I've asked a couple times how it works but I'd imagine it cant be too much different from how I describe...just never got straight confirmation.

OK yeah , so the snout has to be removed the first time to install , I thought some was saying it never needed to be removed , to me no different with any other aftermarket pulley hub , once you remove the snout to put on a hub then it's just a matter of swapping the pulley out from there , no more removing the snout. This shaft is only good for use of the Hellraiser pullies , I get it now.
If your crank is pinned ?.... it doesn't matter what type of pulley you use , I like the TBA pullies that use the hexed hub to drive the pulley , & their cheaper.

Not sure if there's any real world proof of that, ;)

guys have said the belt will squeal on decel , crank slows down an blower rotors want to keep spinning instead
of freewheeling like the litens allows.

Yeah I've heard about some of the issues with squeal , but what I mean is - not sure if that is causing any real damage to anything ? …. some of it will depend on how tight or loose the belt is , the blower decel can be helped some by not instantly coming off the throttle (when racing) & lift a little slower. Everyday driving is not going to make any difference. Mine does not squeal on decel.
There's also been non clutched pullies for many years with out issues to speak of but most everything is a wearable part & eventually will wear out.

I have the tba pulley and mine don’t squeal at all , now when I go to Bradenton this weekend to race there will probably be some squealing but no need to worry because it won’t be the belt , @Dman007 , it will be colby squealing like a little bitch that just got her ass dragged down the track 😂😂
