Yeah, it’s pretty hard to come up with an epic plot that can only be thwarted by buff guys and beautiful girls in muscle cars. Doesn’t stop the writers, though.
Complete garbage series imo. We all know movies are fake and different strokes for different folks and all that, but man something about this Dumb and The Dubious series is just horrible. So cheesy yet people eat it up. Just goes to show if you put out the cheese the rats will come out of the woodwork
The only thing I like about F&F is that every one of the movies celebrates hot-rodded cars. The series has probably done as much to help promote the car hobby as anything else out there. Now we have a new generation of gear heads when I was worried for awhile that a overall passion for cars was over.
Gone are the days of realistic movies where you have to think. Very rare now and they don’t make money I guess. We have become a society of simpletons.

Unfortunately this may have started with the Bullett movie. Although it’s my favorite movie it’s pretty funny watching McQueen shift. That Mustang had 9 speeds. 👍🏼
