They're all POS's. I push start mine every time.
Neighborhood girls for me. Think they are out of school and have no money for gas that is why they walk all the time?

Yes supposed to have that warranty. But 800$ plus taxes and shipping, to much money for me.
Wish I could of snagged one when they were 400$

Darrell Cox racing 9lb lithium battery here since May 2019. Think I paid $700 for it. Ive killed it once (Race cool down while my lights were on) but jumped it and havnt had an issue since.

Came with the battery tender and a hat! :)

On the DCR battery: are your cars basically drag strip queens or are you using them for daily duties? Keep them on battery tender? Thanks for the info.

Unconventional batteries have a degree of risk associated with them that I am not ready to accept. In other words, I keep all my lithium leaf blower and chain saw batteries outside, and laptops and cell phones unplugged when i am not around and still am wary of them. Have you ever seen a cell phone battery fire? Nasty. Some claim the lithium-iron-oxide type are safer than ion, but I am not ready to assume the risk. They would be outside when not used in the car at the track. Granted, there are fail-safes and microprocessor controlled charging circuits in the latest and greatest out there, but heat, or damage is the enemy. Heat breaks down the insulators, and when the components come together it makes for a bad day. More than a few cars/houses/garages have burnt up in the middle of the night. A drag racing insurance salesman once used a lithium fire as an example of a claim he covered that took an entire shop down in the middle of the night. This is an article I saw recently to mull over.. https://dragillustrated.com/josh-ha...e-fire-that-destroyed-familys-tafc-operation/

DD and racing. I leave the DCR in for the race season (april-nov) and switch back to the stock for the winter months. No issues. The longest the DCR has sat without driving has been about 10 days. Ive never used the battery tender.

I not questioning your cautiousness be any means. I work in the electronics industry and have never personally witnessed any lithium battery failures that resulted in a fire. I know they happen as reported by the media), but with the amount of lithium batteries out there, the failure/fire rate has to be tremendously low.
