Dodge Hornet Crossover Rumored as PHEV Coming in 2023

A report claims that the Hornet will be based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale, also due to arrive next year sporting a hybrid powertrain
The Hornet will allegedly be built alongside the Tonale in Italy, with production beginning in mid-2022 before the Hornet arrives in dealerships in the fall of 2022 for the 2023 model year. Dodge has not confirmed any of the information in the Mopar Insiders report, but if it holds true, it won’t be too long before we see the Hornet and Tonale siblings.

It will need larger rubber. That must be the base model. The HO engine will also need a hood scoop and some other stuff.

Still looks like they cannot get ACC to work yet, still all radiators up front and no room for accessories.

Tonale (Toenail) is a stupid name, but it is a good looking little CUV thing. Of course there's no guarantee the production Toenail will look as good as the initial concept and preproduction versions either since it's been delayed due to 'performance shortcomings'.
