Hi, I just found this site. Last week I sold this 1973 Challenger and bought this 2020 Challenger Hellcat. You can read more about the '73 while the site is still up at www.mikes73.com. Just got it on Wednesday of last week and the weather here wasn't great over the weekend so I've only been able to drive it home from the dealer. Never thought I'd sell the '73 and was sad to see it go but the Hellcat has definitely eased the pain.

I won't be doing any mods at all...the car is perfect the way it is. One of the things I like about it is how subtle and understated it is. No flat black hood or stripes or anything like that. Only option I wish it had is the HK stereo upgrade but the Alpine sounds nice.

Please remove the yellow nipple guards, it's a requirement here, lol.

I'm in Joliet. The Six Pak EFI was expensive to buy and expensive to have installed but I loved it. The throttle bodies and manifold came from a company called F & B Throttle Bodies, the fuel tank/pump was from Bouchillon and everything else (including the ignition system) was from FAST. My mechanic installed it all and tuned it on a dyno. F & B also makes these adapter rings that allow me to use the factory Six Pak air cleaner. It starts and runs like a new car, which was the goal. The buyer actually texted me when he got the car to thank me for selling it to him, which I appreciated.

Just got my car back from the auto spa, had Xpel installed on the front clip, mirrors and rockers, Modesto ceramic coating on the entire car (including the wheels) and Mopar mud guards installed. Conveniently, my vanity plates came in while the car was at the spa.

Sold my 73, 2 years ago to fund other things and help with my hellcat purchase. Miss that car all the time and wonder if I should have just bought a hellcrate to stuff in it lol.

Awesome car, drive it and dont save it for anyone else!
