Again, thank you again READY GO. Ours lists, among other things, "ENGINE OIL COOLER" and "HEAVY DUTY ENGINE COOLING".

So my gut tells me it's a probably a cost cutting/ease of manufacturing thing, but who really knows.

I did not know our 23 SRT392 has the "AUTOMATIC HEADLAMP LEVELING SYSTEM" - so that's a plus. I knew our R/T TNG had it, since it was really geared toward the towing aspect, so this is a pleasant surprise. :)

I see no coolers or chillers in the ten page build sheet, but the Fog Lamps are listed. This is a Premium 2023 SRT.

That is strange, our 23 Premium with fogs lists, among other things, "ENGINE OIL COOLER" and "HEAVY DUTY ENGINE COOLING".

Then again, some of us got Alcantara roof liners in our 23 Premiums, and others didn't. I guess Dodge never disappoints in making em all a little "special" LOL.

Okay now looking at a more comprehensive report we generated at order. It has:

NHA - ENGINE OIL COOLER
NMC - HEAVY DUTY ENGINE COOLING
LTE - PREMIUM LED FOGLAMPS.

I am with @drag racer, these don’t really have an oil cooler like the HC, I sure don’t see it and the heavy duty engine cooling is probably a larger radiator than a 5.7. It runs too hot and needs a real oil cooler under my foot anyway. Soon it will help to just screw the warranty, get a tune and get it a correct thermo to stay at about 190 where they like to live.

But the LED fogs are effective and very useful IMO.

Per the previous post from SilverBillet, if I'm understanding his post correctly (I may not be), it looks like the 2024s also recite "ENGINE OIL COOLER", like my 23 build sheet does, so I suspect any further difference or similarity to HC systems for the 24 392s is speculation at this point. I may write to Dodge to see if they might have an answer, but it's actually not that important to me LOL, and thank goodness, our 392 runs pretty cool as-is. I'm not trying to engage in any arguments, nor complain about the function of ours - just wanted to point out I noticed the 24s seemed to have dropped the fogs.

When picking up an ordered Audi SQ8 I noticed that it didn't have fog lights like her previous Q8 did.

Mentioned it to the salesman who said "With these LED HID headlights there's no need for fog lights". Okay, I said, not about to argue about the usefulness of fog lights' lower position, or that it's either LED or HID, but not both.

For my 2024 SRT392 AlcHEMI, the Build Sheet Data shows "Heavy Duty Engine Cooling" and "Engine Oil Cooling"...the "EOC" is the coolant, sandwich/plate-style cooler...which actually help heat up the oil faster at start up, then does slightly cool down the oil when it reaches the 220-235° temp since the coolant is at around 205-215° temp.

On my Challenger SRT392, I swapped in a 180° Thermostat and was able to set the fans to progressively kick in at 185/188/192°...way better temp drop than what the factory "cooler" does.

Here's a pic of my new Durango SRT392 oil filter and cooler...interesting to see the oil filter says right on it, "Factory Installed"!! (I was disappointed to see that it isn't an MO-0041 "White" (Wix) Mopar filter).

I've never seen one that didn't come with the regular black filter, and that said factory installed on it.

Then again, I never had a Viper.

I thought I remembered my 2015 Challenger SRT392 coming with the White Filter..but I could be remembering wrong 9 years later.

I'm thinking to do a 500 mile oil change and swap over to the White Filter (I really like the White Filter better) and Penz Ultra Platinum 0W40..I just got a Fumoto F106S valve yesterday for it.

Here's what I did for my 2024 Laramie G/T..I'm lazy as sh*t🤣

I'm thinking to drain, clean, and keep the "Factory Installed" oil filter as a cool sovereign..I also have never seen one like this before.

A picture is more easy to keep.

Plug in any FCA VIN here and get your Build Sheet Data...no codes, but each option name is listed....

Whoa! Nice find!

Now that's why I go on forums. Thanx READY GO.(y)

My 22 DSRT has both Fog Lamps and an Engine Oil Cooler ...

Update, I did a little surfing on the Dodge site, in the "inventory search" feature, and looked at a number of 2024 392 Premiums at different dealers, and not a one has the fog lamps anymore.

If anyone might possibly know how I can obtain one of those factory "detailed build lists" for my particular 2023, I'd appreciate it. Just curious about this oil cooler thing.
I have found more than a few vague items on my detailed build sheet. Like Glass Module II, which I'm assuming means double paned or sound dampening, but I can't find a description anywhere.

If we wanted to install the fog lights, I guess the consensus is there there is something impeding them from being installed? I would also want to have the switch to turn them on to be the factory switch where the headlight knob is, to push the center to turn them on.

I just bought this from Ebay instead...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1353448970...59hyB15SRO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

This kit has the front & rear trim pieces, foglight assemblies, wiring harness, etc for ~$109 bucks..I'll tap it into the Fuse Box #F40 "DRL/Headlamp" location, instead of the OEM Switch I listed in my above post, so that it comes on all the time with the DRL/Headlamps. While not truly legal being on all the time, you could run the supplied switch into the cabin to turn on/off as desired. I used AlphaOBD to reprogram my 2024 ram Laramie G/T foglights to not dropout with the Highbeams and stay on with them instead (I live out in the country and it's dark..I'm sure someone will comment on this). I dunno, maybe it's just me ...

But I'd be hesitant about buying Dodge parts from a site that can't spell "Dodge". Lol

Surely they use the finest DOT approved optics and bulbs available.

Unlike the $1,600+ headlights I got for my Ram, from a large and well known company. Although, while the parts were not of bad quality, three out of three sets had at least one projector clocked wrong. And unfortunately in the worst way, having the cut-out too high on the left side.

The good warranty saved the day, and ultimately my money.
