I believe the best Fumoto Valve for the Hellcat's Oil Cooler is the F107SX design:
https://www.fumotooildrainvalve.com/f107sx.html

I will be installing one in December 2019 in my 2017 Charger Hellcat and can share photos of the results then. I have some confidence that it will work, especially since it redirects the drain 90 degrees and you have some (limited) flexibility in the orientation.

UPDATE: Jump to post #13 - it didn't work for my Charger.

Thanks!

I ran Fumoto, for years, on my 06 SRT Charger and the wifes RT Magnum. Loved em!

I recently switched to the Stahlbus drain valve, on my Hellcat Charger and will be adding one to our 19 GC Trailhawk, next oil change.

I like the low profile, clean installation and ease of use. This has a built in hose, on the nipple, that presses into the valve, where the Fumoto with the N suffix has it molded in as part of the body.

IMNSHO, both are quality solutions, for the DIY mechanic.

no worries, Bull. I had a whole set of Gold Plugs on all our cars, and then decided Fumotos were a little easier come drain time. Just $ :p

Update on the Fumoto valve...

It didn't fit :(

This assessment is Charger-specific - the Fumoto valve might still work on the Challenger. But anyway, on the Charger, what I ran into was the fact that this valve hangs down pretty far past the oil drain. Once I got the Fumoto valve on, it interfered pretty badly with my access cover. So, while I like the way my access cover fits in a recessed area that the Charger has underneath the Oil Cooler, it has taken away precious space that is needed for the bulkier valve-type of oil drain solutions. Stahlbus valves are smaller - more compact.

If there are any questions, this was the Fumoto F107SX, which offers some orientation control. There just isn't a position option that could overcome the interference and still be logical as a downward pointing drain.

That's exactly the part number I was going to go with... before I decided on the Stahlbus valves.

Just did an oil change and those Stahlbus valves kick ass...

Great info &, pix. Thanks for sharing!
