Finnegan was waiting for the all-run session as of 6 minutes ago. Car is back together and ready to run. Goldstone ran the car dry block and smoked a cylinder head

Wish I knew but I'm almost to the first checkpoint already.

Went 10.17x today... I thought I had commanded the one two shift on time but it occurred at 5500 again. So I'm definitely leaving some time on the table but this slides my average up to like a 10.23x

How are you holding up?

Which car is the 1 with the SMX? The guy looks familiar.
I'm not doing too bad. Other than my tire issues day 1 that mickey hooked me up on and curbing it last night the car has been superb all week so far. It doesn't like pulling that much weight though but she also hasn't quit so we'll keep sending it.

The one dual fluidyne car in that batch has a SM engine. It's Ned's viper that had the SMX in it. He never made it to 131. We're hoping Goldstone stays in it at this point. The C7 vette was out too. Forget his name offhand.

Results are in. https://www.motortrend.com/events/hot-rod-drag-week-2024-results/

Today we went 10.176 at 137.24 mph. 1.53 60ft. That pushes my three day average to 10.23140 and 137.107 mph. I moved up another spot too so I am currently in 6th place going into day 4 at Milan.

To date all of these slips are recorded using launch Control between 1700 and 1900rpm and there's time left on the table due to the 1-2 short shift but I can't complain about the consistency at all. If you only get 2 passes a day you gotta make em count. I'll screw around with it more after we get home.

Are you logging your shift schedule table it is using? Sometimes you have to be careful because depending on how you do your burn out and how long it takes you to stage it can change. For example if you use your paddle. I have the gear and watch for the plus before I launch.
Sounds like you may have to raise a limiting table instead of just the shift schedule if you are raising the correct table.

Honestly I am not. Logging fuel system status, throttle torque source, your normal TPS stuff and then all the usual IAT, RPM, Fuel PSI, IDC, commanded lambda, actual lambda, eq error, ST KR, aircharge, map, boost, STFT/LTFT...probably easier to just send my channel list honestly.

I haven't requested any tune changes yet as nothing else seems to show anything to worry about. Car has always short-shifted the 1-2...I usually just use M and paddle the first shift then slip it back into D for the rest of the pass and it shifts 6300-6500 after that depending on its mood but it's pretty consistent.

I was faster at 131 but not by much. I think the prep was easily equivalent at my level and plenty of cars beat their 131 times today as well.

The results aren't even close to being in today but I got to sneak peek at my overall average after turning in my fourth time slip.

Today's first pass was a 10.278 run that I had to re-stage due to the car shutting off - it spent too long on launch control waiting on the other guy to light his bulb. Probably 10 seconds and she said f@&k this right as the light went green.

Went back for a 2nd pass which went off without issue except a short 1st gear again. Went 10.234 @ 138.xx mph so we turned in that slip.

The Average stays virtually unchanged at 10.232 @ 137.33 mph so far. Day 5 is back to National Trail and we are already on the road but making a quick food stop. I anticipate still holding onto 6th after Day 4. We run FIRST tomorrow at 10am then must turn in a slip immediately so they can calculate the final 5 day averages for the bracket finals.

Here. We. Go!
