Earlier today, Dodge released a video revealing that its upcoming Challenger SRT Demon will come with a crate filled with all sorts of extra go-fast parts. Buried in its press release, though, is an interesting picture of the badge that's screwed onto the crate. Notably, the serial number is listed as "0757," which we think represents the Demon's horsepower figure.

Why do we think this? Well, in its press release, Dodge said "nothing is a coincidence and everything means something" in these Demon teasers, which sounds to us like an obvious wink at the Demon's power output. That 757 horsepower is 50 horsepower more than the 707-hp Challenger SRT Hellcat on which the Demon is based.

Dodge has also done this sort of teasing before. Before the automaker announced the Challenger Hellcat's horsepower numbers, it released a photo of the car's radio tuned to SiriusXM channel '70s on 7, signifying 707 hp.

The other details here are worth exploring too. Tom Coddington is one of Dodge's famous Ramchargers, a group of engineers that took their cars drag racing, helping Dodge establish itself as a muscle car brand. The VIN number 001121 is a little more mysterious, though. At first, we thought it was the Demon's 1/4-mile time?11.21 seconds?but considering the regular Hellcat runs the 1/4-mile in 11.2 seconds, we're not so sure.

We'll see the Demon in April at this year's New York Auto Show where all will be revealed. It should be absolutely ridiculous.
