I have the NT05's right now. Would you say they like smokey burnouts?, whereas the 555's just grab'n go? Performing down to 35F is impressive for any tire but doubly so on a street drag radial! I heard some of these tires (soft compound SHP summer tires) in general can crack below @40F.
555r2 definitely grab and go. Only if you foot brake it can you do a rolling burnout on a dry smooth surface.. or if you car is just modded with more power

Mine is Stock Wide body RE with 555R2 20” 305, I agree with speedy and 16GoManGoHc2, trust his data he dose his homework to prove what works. I bought first pair last summer, and they hook unless you mash it from dead stop, pretty good in cold all things considered. Ready for another pair unless someone reports back with proven tire set up, I will by the 555R2 again, but 315 this time.

I was 855 wheel at the time of testing, be over 1000 on corn once this baby is back in place, just installed the pistons tonight, short block is done finally. It’ll be ginger use of the right foot to hook now lol. 329A8B80-B117-4FC5-BDE5-9E7D473F6B2F.jpeg 2500E5DE-0A5F-4981-8AF0-EB1AEFD6C1AD.jpeg 733F1965-ACCC-4BB1-AC91-4F4403BD2659.jpeg

Agreed, considering the kind of tire the RII is I am happy with the mileage. FWIW, I tend to run about 25-26 cold pressure as it grows to about 27-28. Wear has been even/consistent at that pressure it seems. Granted, I am in South Texas and summer is now in full swing so 3 lbs. of grow is easy....
Im in South Louisiana so Im sure im seeing a fair amount of pressure swing as well

Street setup are the FR Hellcat wheels in 20x10.5 with Nitto 305/45R20 555RII tires.
Hey are you running those on a narrow body?

Yes. Speedy has a 2016 Challenger which predates the widebody option.
