When you tapped into the mirror connector, did you literally just push the power tap pins into the existing pins in the connector?

You're not worried about them slipping loose?

They stick in there pretty darn tight. Never had any come loose in 10 years of using this type of setup. Depending on the connector, sometimes you have to release a locking tab just to make room, then re-seat once hooked up. Had to do that in the Mrs. new ride.

That's all I had to do as well when I installed my R7 w/ the mirror tap. They have different size pins/wire so make sure you choose wisely. :) Other than that, easy peasy.
