Yes this state sucks hard. Last presidential election there were 4.4 million votes for Trump and 8.7 million votes for the broad who shall not be named. California used to be an amazing and beautiful state, currently we are trying to get to 3rd world status as fast as possible. We are almost there. Not sure why that is the goal. Its very sad and I don't see any way to save it. They just keep voting for more idiot ideas. Its a struggle, I'm a strong supporter for states rights but this is crazy. Their problem is the career elected people are making themselves permanent by making sure they let in as many illegal people as will come, promising them everything, AND THEN ALLOWING THEM ALL TO VOTE. OF COURSE THEY WILL ALL VOTE FOR THE PERSON PROMISING THEM EVERYTHING! That is one of the major reasons the place stinks. Happens here in MN also. Here in MN (Hennepin County) they pulled ballots out of trunks and closets after the election to allow Senator Al to win by less than 500 votes! Same shit, look at who they recently sent to the House of Reps. How can the CA people explain who San Francisco sends to the Senate, decade after decade?

I just don't get the whole idea that someone does something very stupid and everyone has to pay or be inconvenienced. If someone rich paid 100 million dollars to build his own personal skyscraper and then threw himself off the roof, does that mean they should ban all skyscrapers? or put bounce houses around the perimeter of every one built?

I can't help but think voter fraud is a real problem.
Granted that CA is much like the rest of the country in that most of the state geographically votes more conservatively. It the pockets of highly populated cities that rule us. I'm in San Diego and it is more conservative than LA and the bay area. Most of the people I know lean right. Maybe my interests and profession tend to put me more in that circle but I have a hard time understanding how the left gets so many votes. All I hear is how we are going in the wrong direction and complaints about our rulers in Sacramento. I'm probably just in an echo chamber though... Still, that is a lot of left votes...
I can't wait to see how the next presidential election goes, especially here in CA. I want voter ID, then lets see where the votes go. Still probably loose but I bet by a lot less.

My ex neighbor was an attorney from CA and threatened to sue me three times, once she fell in my yard, once for a rain storm that caused some slight water collection in her back yard, and the straw that broke the camel's back was when she threatened to sue me over building my shop.

At that point Operation Bad Neighbor went in to effect and she moved a short time later

I cant see how any law change could happen. ANY car that goes into a ditch and flips over without a roll bar/cage is going to inflict damage. I see zero correlation concerning hp and roof damage. HP has nothing to do with it. Any older car without airbags would now need to be retrofitted if they're doing any at all. The law makers would have to really find a hp/roof collapse connection. There isn't one.

This will all be solved eventually. In the socialist wonderland future, you will apply for a government supplied electric self driving safety bubble car thing. In six to ten years if you are a good little citizen you will be able to take possession. Then you will be able to use it to get to your government supplied job, only during certain days of the week and when it isn't broke. This is Illinois.
The state is mainly a red state. However, because Chicago goes hard left the state goes with it. Believe me, everyone outside of Chicago would throw a huge party if Chicago managed to fall into Lake Michigan never to be heard from again.

Just heard the other day a south Chicago democrat had his offices raided by the feds. Another day for us.
