I’m thinking about ordering brass monkey wheels on my next car. I’ve seen/heard that after awhile that they do not retain their factory finish like the black wheels and become blotchy no matter the cleaning product used.

Can anyone confirm this. Also wonder if getting them ceramic coated immediately will stop this issue.

I have them and had them ceramic coated. Still look sharp.

Soap and water, definitely no harsh cleaners or chemicals
