Looks like FCA spent a minimal amount of money on all the cosmetic changes for the 50th editions. No R&D needed, just offerings that were available on other trims previously are now available on these. Shaker hoods being available for the first time on a WB model...I don't see that as being a big deal, but I guess a few people will like that....I just don't feel it at all myself, plus, you need to pay extra for these 50th editions!
-Even though the gold paint is neat, I'm still glad I saved 7970 instead on the one I have instead of paying an additional almost 6K extra over sticker for this!! Also, if I'm reading this correctly, no real changes for HC's or RE's??
-If there's any consolation for those considering buying one, at least they say each one is limited to 70 examples....so eventually years from now you might be able to sell yours for a few bucks more than a non-50th edition one.

Well this is a double edged sword, nothing special here for the Hellcat.

But nothing special here for the Hellcat either.

Looking grim and desperate.

I would not want either of those colors. The wheels are not getting it either. Come on Dodge this is the best you could do for a 50th anniversary edition! Oh I forgot that it is limited numbers! candy for the dealers to hoard and drool over. LOL

Looks like FCA will be riding the wave for a little while longer. I think the pressure is on for something fresh in the next couple of years though.

The 70 T/A was a one year car and they even show it in the background yet no T/A 50th anniversary. How stupid is that.

Short of a special appearance package or a whizzbang techno-bobble I am not sure what else can be done which would make it into the average buyer's garage and not cost FCA a tonne to develop? That car isn't the "ACR" since it will be limited, if it ever comes. Therefore the Redeye option feels like the ceiling for this platform - and it is only one MY old, so Dodge is still recapping on it.

Don't think about damaging that gold, it will never match. Had a '78 TA in gold, that is how I know.

Now that I look close at the wheels....aren't those just the standard 15-16 Slingshot wheels painted silver or are they different?? Looks like I could take a set of black ones off a '15, get them blasted and powder coated silver and they'd be identical to those.

They are 11" wide, but basically the same stuff, different paint.

More EA Sports business practices here by FCA...the wheels on the non-widebody 50th are the same wheels from the 2019 Hellcat Brass monkey, just painted silver!!

They look nice, but not as nice as my '15 Hellcat and it has the Horsepower to back up those good looks... I am not a big WB fan either, so I don't need to worry spending my money here.

Not the same wheels. Here are the 11" wide "slingshot" style, now called "warp speed"-

Versus the new style-

Similar maybe, but I like the new style even better. I like all the new colors too, but as a 50th anniversary package? Meh.

Def not the Slingshots. Similar but not them.
I am super stoked to see the fugly Devils wheels all but go away, they never looked right on these cars. The new 2020 wheels are def where it's at.
The one thing I really can't stand is the retro script badging all over the car and even programmed into the gauges. That is some ugly that I couldnt look at every time I got in and started the car.
