    What good is a EV?

I know I am. Basically, I'm generally keeping it below 100 mph...largely because I want to reserve those last available 18 mph for when passing slower traffic.

    What good is a EV?

Not quite. Traffic is one reason my mileage isn't better. There are times when catch up to and "have to" pass upwards of 10 cars in just 70 miles. Then those resulting 60/70/80 to 120+ spurts (floored) are just so good for the soul. But they do use up some gas. And it probably doesn't help...

    What good is a EV?

Guilty as charged. Apparently I don't even know what mileages our 'Cats are getting.

    What good is a EV?

Dang. Even I can get that with the TRX. Maybe you need to buy an EV, to save tons of money, the planet, and China? All you really have to lose is your dignity. Then again, you used to have a Furd Raptor so there may not be any left to lose.

    What good is a EV?

Umm, either you didn't read all the posts, or you are calling me a liar. I really don't care for the latter, so you can say you didn't read them all, or couldn't comprehend them. If the answer to that is yes, I won't bother with posting the hand calculated averages of them.

    What good is a EV?

I would think that any stock 'Cat should be able to get 24+ with ease. We have cooler temps in our favor, but those are surely more than offset by the elevation changes. And it definitely helps not to have stop signs and traffic lights to deal with. Well, she does, but not a lot of miles...

    What good is a EV?

I'm surprised you don't get more than that. I tend to get 22 and change, my girlfriend is consistently exceeding 24 mpg with her Redeye. And that's on anything but flat and certainly not obeying the speed limit. Either of those does work against an EV, but the elevation changes (thousands of...

    What good is a EV?

Economics aside, I can go about 400 miles with the 'Cat the way I normally drive. Probably some 25% farther if going slower and not using full throttle when passing. That means I can easily go to the nearest large town and back. And enjoy the drive. With an EV I could go there (not enjoying the...

Ford Becoming A National Security Threat

Maybe so, but some are much easier to put back together than others.

Ford Becoming A National Security Threat

Autobianchi, Unimog, Daimler, VandenPlas, AMC, SteyrPuch, to name a few...which models did you have?

Ford Becoming A National Security Threat

Overpaying for a vehicle doesn't mean it's any good.

Ford Becoming A National Security Threat

Meanwhile, I have yet to buy my first Furd, of any kind. I'm so pure.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I don't feel sorry for you, as we have a smoke detector by the entry door that's about 20 feet up. And I can't get any of the cranes or loaders inside the house.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

You collect ladders? That must be an unusual hobby.

So it seems I’ll need a battery shortly

Not a bad idea, assuming that Dodge didn't change suppliers, or the supplier changed the batteries, like Optima did.

So it seems I’ll need a battery shortly

About a year ago I had to replace four Blue Tops in my toy hauler. They'd been in there since '98 or '99. I credit using desulfation (Canadus in that case) for making them last that long.

    Forced Uconnect Update *&$!#*(&$_#_&*!

I sold a Trackhawk and a '21 Challenger largely because of Uconnect issues. But I would've gladly put up with those glitches over having a Furd.

    Ram Names Electric Truck

Just got an email from Ram, offering me a better spot if ordering a Rev, and apparently more timely updates of any progress. All for a mere $100 membership. That's one way to come down to earth after having driven the TRX this morning.

    Corvette E-Ray January 17, 2023

I have one with several motors. It has one for starting, one for the wipers, a couple for the windows, seats, plus probably one or two more. And it looks great.

Best dealer tool ever, guess what it’s for

Meh, if wanted to remove the supercharger, I'd use this. No need to remove the bolts, even.
