    Oil change

My dealer (the owner) also doesn't see a need for it. He knows how I take care of my vehicles. He also knows that other than for a blown up engine, possibly a transmission, I wouldn't want any kind of warranty work anyway. Give me the parts and let me install them. I just don't want to subject...

    Oil change

Yes, it says in the owners manual, but that doesn't make the 6-month rule any less dumb. I have also been known not to always obey the speed limit. Put the car away with fresh oil, then dump that zero mile oil in the spring? That only makes (some) sense if someone cold starts the engine every...

    Oil change

That's what I normally do, but somehow the oil didn't get changed in either one before last winter's hibernation. Even though it wasn't on purpose, it was not surprising to see the lab results come out good after two years. Depending on the mileage, I may go to every other year instead of once...

    Oil change

Too late now, but it's better to change the oil before storing the car. Either way, oil analysis for two 'Cats after two low mileage years (about 500-600 total each) showed that the oil in both was still perfectly good. For at least another 3,000 miles. Of course, both of them are always...

Anyone Do 24 Hours Of Lemons?

I've thought about entering, but don't have a Charger, so...

Well, that makes some sense. A Charger is 0.7 inches narrower than a Challenger, so if there was such a thing as a narrow body, it'd be a Charger.

She should, and I should. Barely over 1,000 miles added between them in two years.

I think Motortrend has a few things wrong (which isn't unusual). We have a '19 Redeye, and as I recall it was far from silently unleashed. Also, there's more to the Redeye than the little dot in the eyes. And plainly visible. Actually, it's kinda hard not to notice the dual snorkel hood.

What if there's a loan on it??

My girlfriend didn't know she could get one, or she might very well have ordered a stick shift. Yes, she prefers manuals and think they're great, but she's weird. After all, she's with me.

About the only way to be really sure is if it's on the internet.

In all fairness, there isn't a widebody, either. Just a regular Challenger with dually fenders tacked on.

    Trackhawks Aint Roll Racers.....

After getting 500+ miles on the odo I wanted to do a 60-120 and let the Trackhawk do its thing. There was a section of suitable straight road, but being used to the Challenger I severely underestimated what the extra weight would result in. Can't help but wonder what the guy in the approaching...

    Airing up a beadlock

No, I've only tried beadlocks once, and that was to prevent air loss when 'wheeling. Found that it's usually the inner bead that lets go first anyway, so I pursued other ways to be able to run at between 1 and 5 psi. Regardless, it doesn't make soapy water good for mounting tires. Better than...

    Airing up a beadlock

I know that a lot of people do, and that the water dries. The issue is that the soap portion doesn't disappear. Are you also into jumping off of bridges if others do?

    Airing up a beadlock

It's more than a little ironic to see the use of WD-40 and soapy water mentioned when the goal is to keep the tire from moving on the wheel. But at least the soapy water isn't a petroleum product, so the tire doesn't care. There are products made specifically to lube the tire beads with, and...

Vroom Online Used Car Seller Collapses

Maybe I should look at a few of their Challengers? I'd rather look at emails with pictures of those.

    Can You Believe This $hit?

Sure glad that wasn't a '65 they ruined. Those are among my favorite cars. Have had three of them. Here's the third one, headed for the dealer to be a trade-in for the 'Cat. Definitely haven't regretted that transaction.

Vroom Online Used Car Seller Collapses

Why? They have paid me well for the cars I sold them. Of course, after they bought a very low mileage Audi Q5 I've been getting daily emails about older and higher mileage Q5s they want me to buy. Apparently nobody there has realized that if I still wanted one, I would've simply kept the one...
