Jeep Testing Self Driving, Off Road Vehicles

And here I like four wheeling a lot because it added a third dimension to road race tracks I started out on. Not that I go fast up and over rocks, quite the opposite, but it requires quite a bit more driver finesse to make a vehicle go places it rightfully shouldn't be able to, I think (driving...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Here it was illegal for asians to own property until 2006. And it doesn't look like many has moved in since.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Tried that a few years ago and had a guy come in and cut and bale. But there were still too many weeds then, so it became cow food instead of horse food. I've thought about running the little 6-foot mower, which leaves a windrow, and rake that up. Have no way to bale it, though, so it'd be...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Okay, I won't post it again. For your sake. Not because it'll save me a bunch of time.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Are you going to make me dig up the photo of it where it's truly bug splattered, and has a small bird stuck in the grille?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

No, sure don't. But it's on the list to get the lawnmowers ready for duty. The grass is over a foot tall in places now.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

The good news: I finally figured out how to get the oil temp to reach 213 degrees. All it seems to take (at 72 ambient) is to end up in traffic. Which I finally did, due to roadwork, in Colorado today. The kinda sad news: Had half a tank when leaving this morning, and knew I'd have to fill it...

    Order Restricted!

In my case it started with better pricing, but soon turned into something better yet...friendship.That in turn resulted in even better pricing. I help the very small dealership by buying a fair amount of vehicles there, and while they may not make any money to speak of on my purchases, it...

    Order Restricted!

Frankly, I have no idea where the nearest drug store is. Unless you mean the formerly illegal drug kind. If so it's no farther than Colorado, which is quite close. And these days probably even closer than that, since they made that crap legal here, too.

    Order Restricted!

I search nationwide. Closer is obviously nice, but far from a necessity for me. The dealer I buy all FCA/Stellanis vehicles from is 450 miles away, which I kinda consider close. Makes for a long day to go pick them up, but well worth it.

    Order Restricted!

There are small, even dinky, dealerships with good pricing (and customer service), too. Finding one can take a little extra effort, though.

    Order Restricted!

That's why I buy cars using the phone and email. May call several in search of the right vehicle and at a good price. And it's almost comical how some call and/or email even a year later hoping to make a sale. Hell, by then I've found and bought my car, and is usually looking for something...

10 Top Cities To Stop At Along RT66

At least they didn't suggest stopping in Gallup.

This Porsche Turbo S Is Nice

Only a little off subject. So what?

    One TOUGH Lady!

Sure they would. If it's five of them, they're well armed (and preferably inside a tank), and she only has a tire iron.

Stellantis Has Equipped Cars With Emergency Alert System

If it would alert me of nearby law enforcement, it wouldn't be all bad. The rest I can do without, including the irritating (federally mandated) stupid backup camera. And I should look into disabling that wonderful feature that prevents backing up with the door open.

This Porsche Turbo S Is Nice

That's Agate Gray in Porsche speak. Very similar to Granite.

In my case it's probably waiting for some useless tech add-on, which I don't want in the first place. Worst case, they forgot to install the sunroof (which I really don't want) and are now cutting a big hole in what was a perfectly good roof. We'll see what happens. If nothing else, pretty...

    Order Restricted!

My Durango is a 5N7 and bounced between BX and BG a few times. It was built a month ago, but seems to have gotten stuck after that. Still no window sticker.

    Order Restricted!

I don't get quite that much, usually. On the other hand, the fees for 25,000 lbs. of luggage would probably outweigh (no pun intended) the cost of fuel. Plus, I like towing and hate flying, so I'd drive no matter what.
