    Stellantis To Drop Prices 30-35%?

Oh, and to clarify, last summer I bought a '19 Durango GT AWD Plus with 92K miles on it for cheap. That one I really like so it's a keeper.

    Stellantis To Drop Prices 30-35%?

Indeed I did. Back to the dealer I bought it from, some four months later. Still with the same 18 miles on the odometer as it had when I picked it up.

    Stellantis To Drop Prices 30-35%?

Meanwhile, the owner of the good dealership I use called and asked permission to put seven miles on my new '23 Durango, assuring me he'd do it personally. Some new rule says they have to. He knows how I feel about gear break-in and such, so of course I gave him permission. Which was easier than...

Lithium ion battery for the Hellcat

You only say that because you haven't seen mine.

Check Engine Light after CAI install

Ha! At least a couple of times per month I comment on how "the car she didn't need" gets used so much. It took me a couple of weeks to talk her into ordering that one, but I'm glad I persisted. And more importantly, so is she.

Check Engine Light after CAI install

I didn't realize how well the OE intake works until changing the filters on my girlfriend's TRX the other day. Felt a little bad having gone past 22,000 miles when the book says to change them at 20K, but was pleasantly surprised to find the "dirty" side being darn near as bright white as the...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

As long as it hasn't been idling the whole time it'll be fine. Dust washes off.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

It does. Otherwise the jack stands would be unnecessary.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I thought you knew, 2ndAmend. Half of those miles are achieved by idling the car in gear on jack stands.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

From what I can tell EricG didn't do anything to his 'Cat today...but he's lusting for a V8 Pacer.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Why wouldn't you? Judging by your driveway photos it doesn't look like you're hitting an Interstate on-ramp within a few hundred yards of leaving the house, making me think that by the time you do have to/want to get on it a little, the oil is probably up to 100 degrees or so. If you needlessly...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Let's hope you'll never need a crate engine.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

You probably should, regardless of how long the frames and bodies last. And what do you do if it's -14? Leave the engine idling for days?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Really? Does the Furd manual say so, or is that your interpretation? My vehicles sure seem to be ready to run once the engine does.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Your pickup was on high idle, in an effort not to idle. It knows better.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I do let them warm up before asking them to actually work. In my case that's done by driving up the driveway, then about two miles or so of gentle driving, or whatever distance it takes to get the oil up to at least 150 degrees or so. This obviously takes less time/distance if the trailer and...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

You should've asked me two years ago, before I sold a few.. Now I'm down to just three of them. But it's basically irrelevant. I can't even abuse a rental vehicle by idling it, so why would I subject my own to it?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I couldn't care less what the EPA thinks about it, but I want the engine to warm up faster...so I drive instead of idling. If at what looks like it'd be a three or more minute stop at roadwork, I shut the engine off. Did I mention that I don't like to idle? Not my vehicles, not myself.
