    Completely agree, Hicker. It's one thing to know how to drive a stick, but doing it correctly is a different matter. My girlfriend always wants manual cars. I tell her that she can have one when she learns how to drive one. She then says "I've driven sticks all my life", to which I respond...

    That insulation is our friend, Hunter. Separates men from boys, for example. I could go on, but you are already aware of many of its advantages. But I'll mention one more, just in case: You get rained on, you get wet. Meanwhile, if I get get snowed on, I can literally just brush it off.

    It should be added that the center diff could be locked, by shifting into Hi Lock or Lo Lock. In some ways we have opened up a can of worms here, but transfer cases, hubs, and even CADs, are really quite simple. Well, with the exception of the late model computer managed AWD stuff, that is.

    I'd say that it's the other way around. It's a 4X4 with full time capability. Interesting that this 4X4 subject came up, as I've been a four wheeler for most of my life and am much more familiar with those mechanicals than I am with what makes my Challenger tick.
