Hellcats are rare now! Looting has Started @San Leandro

I could live with abused tires and bent rims. Even a bullet hole or two. Undoing what the engine, trans and diff gears were subjected to is far harder.

The Hellcat-Powered Ram Rebel TRX Will Reportedly Have Over 700 HP

I think my 1500 has a payload of about 1,500 lbs., which sure isn't much. Not if there also were five people in the cab...and that's with a V6 and not many options.

Need advice on fighting the dreaded steering wheel vibration

Yeah, but if they were warm when you parked, then allowed to cool off before you removed them from the car, they won't be as round as they could be. It's much like dropping a car off at the tire store, and by the time they get to it the tires have cooled off. They'll get balanced to the shape...

Need advice on fighting the dreaded steering wheel vibration

Okay, scratch the tire store tightening theory then. But do you remove the tires from the car after it has been sitting in the garage for a while? If so you could have minor flat spotting still by the time they go on the balancer. I try to leave even new tires inflated for a couple of days...

Need advice on fighting the dreaded steering wheel vibration

Tightening down the lug nuts the wrong way (as tire stores tend to do) can warp things.

The Hellcat-Powered Ram Rebel TRX Will Reportedly Have Over 700 HP

The optional rear air suspension on the 2500s can indeed make them ride really nicely, but the standard coils are very good, too. Of course, the 2500's 10K GVWR does limit their their theoretical load carrying capacity.

Then you should probably skip 1/2-tons altogether. I look at my 1500 as an El Camino, a car with a bed on it.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

Wow! Quite transformed is an understatement. I just changed the fluids in mine, and eventually put larger tires and wheels on it. 13s! By the way, between you and The Englishman, are you in possession of 65% of the total horsepower in UK?

What else do you drive besides a HC?

    Nah, nitrous is cheaper.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

Speaking of Japanese imports, this is what I drive the most often, by far. Okay, so it may only be 10-15 miles per week, but still, almost every day. It's a Daihatsu HiJet, and I haven't had this mighty 3-cylinder on the dyno, and don't plan to. Actually, it's usually in low range.

    Congratulations July HFCOTM Winner Moparjim

Maybe we should have a separate of-the-month for Chargers? After all, it's a bit like boy and girl scouts not really being able to compete on a level field. Oh wait, those days are over, aren't they? Boys, girls, whatever, it's all the same.

    Congratulations July HFCOTM Winner Moparjim

Yeah, for that one I may have to resort to using the same method as FCA customer service uses for build and delivery date information, a dartboard.

    Congratulations July HFCOTM Winner Moparjim

I voted somewhat early, for two. Yesterday evening I changed one vote, to make the leaders closer yet in the vote count. Still, my gut feeling that Granite rules was correct.

    Congratulations July HFCOTM Winner Moparjim

It could be. It very well could be. Line all 16 of them up in front of the car, then you could tell us that there's a Challenger behind them (which we wouldn't be able to see) and you could/should win.

    Congratulations July HFCOTM Winner Moparjim

Umm, that would be 16 of them. I can barely handle one at a time.

You're not far from the beach (okay, with traffic it may take six hours), so why not stuff a few bikini clad babes in there, then take a photo. With the doors open, of course.

I think Hellcatcfp deserves a door prize.

I think that Hellcatcfp deserves a door prize for July.

    JULY HFCOTM VOTE / POLL

Hey, Magnified pulled it off. Apparently he did pass the bar exam, and he does drive a taxi.

    JULY HFCOTM VOTE / POLL

No decent enough offers, I think. And sorry to say, even if I wanted to (yeah, right) I couldn't help you win at this point. Could almost give moparjim a tie, though,
