I sent them off with Givemethevin. After they matched Vroom's price on the 'Hawk and Carvana's on the 1500.
Since I had already started the process, sort of, with Givemethevin it was just easier that way.
It has already affected Ram, and some time ago. I ordered on 4-17 and it's still in D. And the TRX '21 order banks have closed already.
Yes, I would like to have mine before winter hits, but am not willing to pay an extra $38K+ (if ADMs are indeed as high as 30) for something that isn't built...
Yet another reason to order, rather than dealing with what happens to be on the lot. Which apparently isn't much.
For me, about a $4K profit for having driven the 'Hawk for about 16 months, then paying almost $9K less than MSRP for the TRX which many dealers are asking 5-15K over sticker for...
My only issue was the time it took Givemethevin to get a transport to show up. Cars just sat there for two weeks, and I didn't want to drive either one since I had technically sold them.
Guess that they wanted to get both at once contributed to the delay.
Took the checks to my bank for deposit...
Yep, had both checks well in advance. But since they couldn't be cashed until the vehicles were picked up, that didn't do me any good in the meantime.
Not that I expect any of these companies to pay before they have the vehicle. They're risking a lot as it is by buying unseen.
They put our '19 on "Fast Track" a couple of times...which didn't seem to make any difference.
It still took over four months from when it was built to when it made it to the dealer.
That's the beauty of customer service. You never know what answers and predictions they'll pick from their pile of cue cards.
As long as you know not to believe anything they claim, it can be an entertaining pastime.
It's a selfish act, really. The more people I can fool into buying crew cabs, the better for me.
Makes my plethora of proper 2-doors stand out even more.
Thankfully, mine's never been driven in rain, let alone mud. But that is about how my girlfriend's Granite one looks.
It must be dirtier in Santa Fe than I thought. Plus we haven't had enough rain for free car washes.
