I trailer my new (or new to me) vehicles home. Partially because correct break-in would be hard to do when the dealer is 450 miles away, but I'd do it even if the dealer was only 20 miles from home. Why? Because by taking the vehicle off the trailer and then putting it on the lift I can check...

That was my strategy, too. I just wanted mine to arrive before winter sets in. And now it looks like it will, with months to spare.

Today the window sticker showed up. Hey, that's much better progress than I expected.
