Only thing Disappointing About The HC Charger

Funny. Just before I read your post I remembered that I have one car with the lever on the vacuum wiper motor, and an external link that runs the passenger side off of it. Those can also be operated manually. And I have one with only one wiper, that is completely manual. No wonder I don't find...

    Searching for TRX

Why do you think Lize wants black now? Taxis are black over there. And the bar is obviously for the signage. Besides, many women have a lot of luggage these days (not implying that Lize does), so a cute little lorry like the TRX could be the perfect taxi.

    Searching for TRX

Lize, you can also try AutoTrader. Almost all dealers seem to list their vehicles on that site. Another possibility is the Ram-TRX forum. Looks like quite a few have bailed on orders, or ordered two hoping for one to arrive before the other. You may be able to take over an order at or below MSRP.

Only thing Disappointing About The HC Charger

Kenworth, huh? Well, sometimes you do have to settle for second best. Kinda like a taxi instead of a Challenger. Want proof that Kenworths suck? You say that they have vacuum powered wipers. On Peterbilts they run on positive air pressure. Oh well, at least even KWs are 2-doors so they can't be...

Only thing Disappointing About The HC Charger

Close. But the real reason is the tall sidewalls on the 11R24.5s. The handling just isn't as crisp.

Only thing Disappointing About The HC Charger

Highly unlikely, Geerhed. There are very few places around here where the roads are straight enough to keep the steering wheel in one position even for a few seconds. Also, can't really do hand over hand steering very well in the sharp curves with an elbow hanging out the window. And I try to...

Only thing Disappointing About The HC Charger

I'm trying to picture how drunk I'd have to be to not notice that it's raining. And while I've never been to a gym in my life, I'm still capable of turning the wipers on manually, as needed. Also, I can somehow sense when it's time to turn the lights on and off, and when to dim them. And just...

Excited about the PB but something is off...

As you know, I'm not interested in being handed any slips. So since the cop cars (and everybody else) are down on power, too, I don't care one bit.

Excited about the PB but something is off...

Hmm. Living the low life or sacrificing some performance? I know which one I prefer.

    KZP status?

It's not just cars. I searched for a Can-Am UTV nationwide for days. "Pre-order now" it said on just about every dealer's site. Non-refundable $1,500 deposit. Delivery date? Maybe April or June. Maybe. John Deere was even worse. Found a Can-Am about to arrive at a dealer in Corpus Christi, TX...

    KZP status?

You may be onto something there, 'trooper. Those roof signs must be installed somewhere along the process.

    KZP status?

KZP is supposed to be "body vendor", but it seems like it could really be JS (storage) these days.

Has anyone tried narrower snow tires?

I have a set of Michelins, 285/45s as I recall, not dedicated winter tires but bought to be better for winter use. Ended up selling the 'Hawk with the OE tires soon afterwards, so not many miles on them if you're interested. Also have a set of stock size DWS06s with very few miles on them, on...

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

    Hmm. Been around @Hellcatcfp much?

How many Charger Redeye owners in the forum? And be sure to vote.

Okay, the DSL is working again. Allows me to point out that even the Rapid Transit Authority isn't interested.

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

That's not entirely untruthful, ChargerChallenger. A low regular cab with power like that would be great. But then there's real life. I wouldn't drive a Furd (or anything which looks even remotely like that) even with your driver's license. Makes me feel better about having a relatively slow...

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

Oh, I sure wouldn't want to make anything worse. But having been 'wheeling for most of my life, the TRX isn't even on the list of vehicles I'd like to go on trails with. It's capable of much more than I'd want to subject it to, and is really just a fun version of a boring 1500 to me. If you...

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

Meanwhile, just about any vehicle I buy, I try to make handle, stop, accelerate, or whatever, better. Besides, I have and have had so many "something else" that the TRX was the only vehicle that I was interested in buying. Can I make it handle better? Already did. Can I make it handle better...

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

Funny. Yesterday I thought "Wonder how hard it could be to lower it about two inches." Going to narrower (matching the rim width better) tires helped the handling quite a bit. The rear anti sway bar helps both in the corners and when accelerating hard. Obviously, lowering would be very...

    Damn F-150 Supercharged 770HP smokes the TRX…..😱.

Correct. It's not particularly good at anything. But where the TRX shines compared to a regular pickup seems to be its ability to go fast in the dirt. I have no desire to go fast in dirt, but do like the 702 hp. Its questionable handling is an acquired taste and can be fun, I think.
