My box stock axles in my Hellcat never had any issues in 100+ passes. I wouldn't get too exotic maybe upgrade to RE axles and call it good.

Congrats on the PB. Its right there with mine in the 170.
Thanks @Speedy! ! Had no idea what to expect with all of the work that I've done to the car this time around. I would have settled for a 9.5. This car continues to surprise me. The gains seem to be a lot more than I would have thought.

And unless my boost calculation is wrong (not sure if it will calculate correctly with 2 bar sensors) I was only making 17.75 lbs of boost

It's been a minute since I had the Hellcat but I don't remember too much wheel hop...maybe a time or two.

Unholy's car was a 6speed at first, so it's possible this axle got some hard use prior to this break.

My buddy Chad clutch dumped is 9 second M6 Hellcat from 4K on stock axles and I don't think he ever broke one.

I've seen A LOT of people post about random problems with aftermarket axles. KISS is my motto there.
They have definitely seen their share of abuse in both m6 and a8 configuration (60k miles on them). I did get something close to wheel hop the pass before the 9.3 attempting to use the 2 step, but forgetting to turn traction control off after using the line lock and switch to my "custom mode" in performance pages, since my trans tune is for track mode. Spun badly, traction control kicked in, let out completely and then got right back in it.

I don't have AAD or adjustable arms of any kind. Cradle lockout, solid diff brace, poly engine mounts (the poly engine mounts were new for this run). Redeyes and demons have better camber because they have special zero camber knuckles.

Yeah, that has been my motto as well...Except with this chiller setup. By far the most complicated thing on the car. However... yesterday, on the way to the track...

what pulleys and rpm were you shifting at to figure out about what boost you were at. You need 3 bar map sensors for what you are doing

2nd post by fubar is the same as yours. I would have guessed around 20-21 with headers
Very similar, but I don't know what the specs are in the headers he's running. He said 19 after the headers (which makes sense, you lose boost with long tubes), mine was close to 18 - so not far off. Mine are the 2" primary kooks with no back pressure in race form at the track. I did also get the max effort kong snout/bearing plate port and race bearing rebuild. MAT never got to 140

I am no expert at wheel hop physics, but it is strange how sometimes people are plagued with it, and others are not. I never experienced it in the RES2, but a guy at the dragway last summer with a Charger RES2 ripped his diff out (no brace). Only thing I remember was he said he hated MT's, and I don't remember the tires he was using.
