I buy condition, equipment and then color. Of course price has to be right.
If you are not picky on color that works. Many colors I would not own

Color also determines value.

I know X9 Black is top of the list for you especially on 68-70 Charges, is that the only color or is there a second choice if it’s
A nice R/T SE ? if do happen to stumble upon a nice example. Also does it have to be Matching Numbers and original X9 Black.
These two factors are without doubt directly proportional to cost especially on that car. They made only so many and lots folks wan it. Your taste is impeccable. To say the least.

Without offending (some want the original RT SE, the hardest part of Making a non SE car become a SE car is the 6 way adjustable seat. The frame/track for adjustment is close to unobtainium. No aftermarket is yet to be made that I am aware of. The leather seats are available from Ledgendary Auto. Every other component throughout the car that is on the SE. A47 code is available, if that is a route you would be into.

I think that the Charger in the video is probably a pretty rare one. Albeit the condition isn't A or even a B someone will get it and make it right.

Hemi Orange with a white interior would make me a very happy old Soldier. With black being #1 any high impact color will work. I can live without the SE but it must be a R/T and a auto 727 torque flight. I can back down from the 440 to a 383 if it's very nice.

I will take it Dave. In fact I would be happy with a laser straight Triple black R/T SE that’s not original. That way I could drive it everywhere without worry of it being damaged. The Black R/T SE I am restoring will cost me an arm and leg and will be nervous driving it often. Also if it has a hole in /the hood it better be worth cutting up that hood with beautiful pressed reliefs stamped into it. Translation Blown Fuel Injected Gen2 426 Hemi something on the order of all aluminum World block or better stroked to 572, Ray Barton quality build or equivalent. Easy 1200 1300 that will stay together but $$$$$ but now your talking special prep drive line south of flywheel, ie special prep Trans Dana Strange rear end…. ….. ….. $$$$$$

I volunteer to be the first test pilot even if it’s not an original R/T SE.😁😁😁 I still see a blown 70 Charge in X9 Black!

Like I said I would never want a hole in the hood on a Original R/T SE, and if it’s not original I would make damn certain if I cut a hole in the hood I would make it worth it.

The orange with white interior is eye popping as well, some don’t like the vinyl roof but I think with the right color combo it can actually compliment the many compound lines with the car, it also is a nice contrast with the center body style line, giving it a true cockpit look placed onto of the fuselage and flying Buttress pulling back to the rear deck finish panel, just As Richard Sias and partly from Bill Brownlie as Intended. Keep in mind a majority of the high impact colors were not available till the 70 model.

Pal vitamin C Orange was a mid year release for 1969, meaning it was only available from Feb 69 forward, translation lower production numbers. Wow just Wow color combo man.

The triple black R/T SE I am restoring came with a (Mandatory) roof beacause of M51 option Power Sunroof. The car was built at Hamtramick Plant without interior finished as I know it, then shipped across town to ASE American Sun Roof to be fitted with power moon not sunroof, it has no glass. Then the headliner interior was finished. They built 29 R/T SE M51 sunroof cars for 69.

You will not find M51 on the fender tag only the broadcast sheet. Although in the sales order number code ( not )sequential build number you will find the first 3 numbers prefix. XXXXXX will start with 928XXX with out build sheet it’s the only identifiable way to determine. I believe 70 and up M51 was announced on fender tag.
