I've never seen a high speed chase, just wondering if many people have?

I was once at the front of a rolling road while they cleared debris, had a laugh with others alongside and it was quite entertaining. When the police car roared off to get the traffic moving faster I had to hold back a bit as was in danger of undertaking him

I've ran many times on my crotch rockets back in my younger days but never in a car. its just so much easier to evade on a fast bike. lol

I will admit...in my 20's I ran from the Law on a bike..It was very early 80's..troopers had anemic Dodge Diplomats..I had a Turbo charged liter Kawasaki..I was @90 or so..he was standing still hidden by the overpass...the next exit was 2 miles up the road...it was really easy......would never think of doin it today...with any vehicle...

Like 'Trooper said, it was nothing out of the ordinary in Los Angeles. Much more than weekly it seemed like.
So to answer your question, I have only seen one outside of L.A.

On the other hand, I've been part of a couple, but couldn't see them since the cops were behind me.

They used to happen in SoCal quite a bit, not sure about now. For awhile, it seemed like a weekly occurrence.

Yeah I watched one live from there, they were chasing a white bronco
If they couldn't catch that they sure won't a Hellcat

They blew it at the beginning. They had him blocked before he got on the highway but didn't act fast enough and the seas parted

Dude.....you cannot believe how much that messed up SoCal traffic that day. I got stuck in San Bernardino until very late because they had all the freeway entrances blocked off while they did that stupid chase......that they easily could've ended by putting some transit busses across the road.

Some of those high speed chases ended either with the person committing suicide or getting whacked by the cops on live tv. Gotta keep those news ratings up. Now they delay the broadcast a few seconds so they have time to cut away so that little johnny doesn't have his delicate psyche ruined.

well.....it's not like that OJ chase was exactly high speed.....

Hell that was like 63 years ago, 200hp was a LOT it was high speed for the time

The best one was when the guy stole the tank in San Diego and drove it down the freeway....not high speed but certainly entertaining. He gets extra points for originality.

I have done it a few times. This one time I was in a train tunnel, you know what happened next, messed up my tank and the train. Yeah GTA 5
